9.ORGANIZATIONAL CHART AND PROCESS:
A.HODs:Heads of Departments of civil,computer science,Information Technology,Electronics & communications,Electrical & Electronics,Mechanical,Production,Instrumentation Engineering branches takes care of the individual departments and the Heads of Departments of Science,Humanities and Management looks after the smoothrunning of the first year engineeing course.Review of genaral departmental administration is taken up during periodic Principal-HODs meeting.
B.Academic Cell:An Academic cell is created with the cell looking after the following functions in association with the Heads of Departments.

C. Examination Cell: The examinations cell is in charge of conducting all university theory and practical examinations.This is to protect and maintain the sanctity in the examinations and evaluation processes.
D. Disciplinary Committee:The disciplinary committee looks after the campus discipline and is created mainly to curb any possibilies of ragging.It monitors individual anti-ragging committees functioning at departmental level
E. Training & Placement cell: The training and placement cell looks after the career opportunities for the students and help them to develop their personality and make ready the students for interviews and possible placements.
10. Student Feedback mechanism on Institutional Governance/Faculty performance.
Academic cell looks after the student feedback on faculty performance and institutional governance.
Student Feedback:
Students are given opportunity to put forward their views in course review committee meetings which are conducted twice in a semester.The committee includes HOD's,two senior faculty members from the respective departments.A written feedback from the students studying during the semester in all the branches of engineerin is bieng taken to ascertain thier views/suggestions for college development,viz infrastructure & laboratory support and teaching and learning process and guidanc to thier juniors etc.
ON FACULTY PERFORMANCE:
A formal student feedback system regarding faculty performance is in practice.Under this system,feedback in a structured form is obtained from all the students twice in a year to evaluate teaching-learnibg process in respect of the subjects taught by each faculty.Each parameter is quantified and rated.After compilation,the summary of the feedback showing thier rating against each parameter nad the overall rating against the set threshold level is communicated through the Head of the Department to the respective faculty to strive for improvement in the areas rated below threshold level.
The affiliating Osmania University also collects feedback from the students on academic performance such as conducting classes as per timetable,quality of teaching,completion of syllabus by a leacturer, library facilities and laboratory faciliries etc and communicates the observations.
11. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM FOR FACULTY,STAFF AND STUDENTS:
Grievences Cell works under the supervision of Disciplinary committee and looks after the greivences of students and works for the redressal of the same.The possibility of greivences from students and staff is very bleak.In the event of any problem bieng faced, the faculty,staff and students would make a reprentation to HOD concerned.The college grievence committee would suggest and recommend actions to ba taken for students greivences.If it is required,the issue would be taken to the notice of the principal for necessary action.The principal looks after all the problems of the staff and faculty may be facing and works for the remedy.Greivences of faculty & staff are also taken care of by directly reporting to the principal for a possible solution.
FOR FACULTY & STAFF:
- In order to provide a mechanism for redressal of greivences of faculty and staff this college has a Disciplinary Committee constituted.
- Any grievence reported b a faculty member to the principal will be referred by the principal to this committee which will give its recommendations after making an indepth enquiry and study the case.
- A Disciplinary Committee consisting of principal as the chairman and HOD's/coordinators of concerned department as members is formed.
FOR STUDENTS:
The Grievence Cell is strenghened with a teacher associated as a group counseller for every twenty students.The group counseller holds meetings at regular intervals and provides counselling and guidance to the students.Difficulties and shortcomings of the institution are taken care by the appropriate authority of the college from time to time.The students inform the group counseller about their grievences regarding teachers,institute & other activities and the same are reported to the principal and appropriate action is taken The grievencesregarding academic and examinations which are out of the purview of the college would be taken to the notice of the university anthorities for appropriate action.
-All HOD's concerned deals with all matters concerning student affairs viz identity cards,emergency medical needs,anti-ragging measures.induction programme etc
- Every student is kept under the care of one faclty member of each department who will monitor the students punctuality and regularity of attendance.thier academic progress,arrange tutorials for the students lagging behind in academics,encourage them to avail the lab and library facilities to the fullest extent,become members of the professional bodies and guide them on the new technology in their fields etc
- The faculty members also interact with the parents of their wards periodically and bring to their notice regarding the absenteeism and low academic performabnce of their children to enable them to take corrective measures.
- Principal who revirews the progress of the faculty member-student meetings and gives direction and guidelines to the faculty members from time to time.
- Suggestion Boxes are kept at all prominent places in the premises of the college to encourage students to suggest measures requiring attention of the college authorities in respect of matters concerning academic and student amenities.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (g) of Sub-Section 26 of
the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, the University Grants
Commission hereby makes the Regulations
“UGC
Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational
Institutions, 2009” in force with immediate effect.
To
root out ragging in all its forms from universities, colleges and
other educational institutions in the country by prohibiting it by
law, preventing its occurrence by following the provisions of these
Regulations and punishing those who indulge in ragging as provided for
in these Regulations and the appropriate law in force.
“Ragging”
means the following:
Any conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act
which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness
any other student, indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities
which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or
psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a
fresher or a junior student or asking the students to do any act or
perform something which such student will not in the ordinary course
and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or
embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of a
fresher or a junior student.
Punishable ingredients of Ragging:-
Depending
upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established by the Anti-Ragging
Committee of the institution, the possible punishments for those found
guilty of ragging at the institution level shall be any one or any
combination of the following:

Suspension
from attending classes and academic privileges
·
Withholding
/ withdrawing scholarship / fellowship and other benefits
·
Debarring
from appearing in any test / examination or other evaluation process
Withholding
results
·
Debarring
from representing the institution in any regional, national or
International
meet, tournament, youth festival, etc;
·
Suspension
/ expulsion from the hostel
·
Cancellation
of admission
·
Rustication
from the institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semesters
·
Expulsion
from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any
other institution for a specified period
·
Fine
ranging between Rupees 25,000/- and Rupees 1 lakh
·
Collective
punishment: When the persons committing or abetting the crime of
ragging are not identified, the institution shall resort to collective
punishment.
·

If
an institution under a university (being constituent of, affiliated to
or recognized by it fails to comply with any of the provisions of
these Regulations and fails to curb ragging effectively, the
university may impose any one or any combination of the following
penalties on it:

Withdrawal
of affiliation / recognition
or other privileges conferred on it
·
Prohibiting
such institution from presenting any students then undergoing any
programme of study therein for the award of any degree / diploma of
the university
·
Withholding
grants allocated to it by the university, if any
·
Withholding
any grants chanellised through the university to tie institution
·
Any
other appropriate penalty within the powers of the university.
At the appointing authority level:
The
authorities of the institution, particularly the Head of the
institution,
shall
be
responsible
to ensure that no incident of ragging takes place in the institution.
In case any incident of ragging takes
place, the Head shall take prompt and appropriate action against the
person(s) whose dereliction of duty lead to the incident. The
authority designated to appoint the Head shall, in its turn, take
prompt and appropriate action against the Head.
At
the UGC/Statutory/Regulatory body level:
If
an institution fails to curb ragging, the UGC/Statutory/Regulatory
body concerned may impose anyone or any combination of the following
penalties on it:

Delisting
the institution from section 12B of the UGC Act or any similar
provision in the Act of the Statutory / Regulatory body concerned
·
Withholding
any grants allocated to it
·
Declaring
the institution ineligible for consideration for any assistance under
any of the general or special assistance programmes of the UGC/Statutory/
Regulatory body concerned
·
Declaring
that the institution does not have the minimum academic standards and
warning the potential candidates for admission accordingly through
public notice and posting on the UGC Website/ Website of the Statutory
/ Regulatory body concerned.
