                The subjects of Computer Science are revised for every four years keeping in view the latest trends in software development and new technological innovations , so as to keep our graduates abreast with new technologies. All the core courses offered during second and third year studies with electives being offered in final year . The final year students have also to do project work in some good industries so that they are exposed to the job environment before they graduate. Many Multinational companies  like Satyam , Wipro , Infosys do conduct campus selection and quite a good percentage of students are selected every year. The Computer center has excellent latest hardware and software facilities to conduct the practicals , as well as do their project work.
             The Department has an "Academic Cell" whose members identify industries/Research establishment to involve them in departmental activities and also explore the possibility of undertaking consultancy / research projects . The department also conducts work shops , guest lectures and seminars regularly .   The pass percentage of students has always been consistently excellent since its inception . The students who graduate from our department have been regularly getting admissions in foreign universities from USA , Australia , UK , Canada , to pursue Master's Degree Program .
