The Instrumentation Engineering Branch was started in 1991 with
an intake of 30 and subsequently raised to 40 in 1995 and now the
present intake is 40 .
Students have secured top university ranks starting of the
first outgoing batch of year inclusive of the recent batch s.
The laboratories are bieng continually upgraded and equipment
reflecting the latest technology is bieng added.Approximately Rs 1.5
lakhs were spent for adding new equipment to Transducers and process
Instrumentation labs.A new Microprocessor and
Microcontrollers and
Instrumentation Engineering Computer Simulation labs were established in
recent years with 20 P-IV Systems.
The department is headed by Dr.M.A.Nayeem,Along with
7 young & energetic faculty members who are well
qualified & experienced.
Major equipments are Flow,Level,Pressure,Temperature and PLC control
Trainers in process Instrumentation Lab ,Microprocessor and
Microcontroller Kits,Oscilloscopes , Digital Instrumentation Tutors
, Operation Amplifiers , Isolation , T/F's Oscilloscopes , PLC
Trainer , Digital IC Trainer , OP-AMP Application Trainer and
Data Acquisition System.
