The Instrumentation Engineering Branch was started in 1991 with
an intake of 30 and subsequently raised to 30 in 1995 and now the
present intake is 40 .
Students have secured top university ranks starting of the
first outgoing batch of year inclusive of the recent batch of year
2005.
The laboratories are bieng continually upgraded and equipment
reflecting the latest technology is bieng added.Approximately Rs 1.5
lakhs were spent for adding new equipment to Transducers and process
Instrumentation labs.A new Microprocessor lab was established in
2005 at a total cost of Rs.1.2 lakhs.
The department is headed by Mr.Quazi Mateenuddin,Assoc Professor as
well as by 6 young & energetic professor & assistant
professors..
Major equipments are Oscilloscopes , Digital Instrumentation Tutors
, Operation Amplifiers , Isolation , T/F's Oscilloscopes ,
Temperature , Pressure and Flow level Controller Trainer , PLC
Trainer , Digital IC Trainer , OP-AMP Application Trainer and
Data Acquisition System.
It is headed by Prof. P. Kondala Rao and supported by
the qualified and experienced faculty.
