DEPARTMENT OF MCA  

                     The Department was started in the year 1992 , with an  intake of 30 students. Later on the intake was enhanced to 40 and to 60 .
                    
The Department was headed by the eminent professors right from its inception and from july 1998 to 1-11-2008 by  Prof . Syed Allah Baksh, and currently by Mr.Khaja Mahabubullah,Assoc.prof since 1-11-2008..

       STUDENT BRANCH OF COMPUTER SOCIETY OF INDIA:

                       The student branch of The Computer Society Of India was inaugurated at Deccan College Of Engg. & Tech. on 14-3-06 by Mr Amarnath Rao, Vice-president Of the Computer Society Of India,Hyderabad Chapter with 120 student members from the MCA department.Prof.M.Amir Ali,Principal presided over the function.Prof.L.C.Siva Reddy, Dept. Of CSE,Osmania university delivered the invited guest lecture on the "Importance of the professional bodies in technical education".

                       Prof.Syed Allah Baksh, Head of MCA dept. gave the welcome address and Mr.Sajid Ali Khan,Asst.Prof and student co-ordinator gave the vote of thanks.
